Well, we just had another pregnancy check-up today. Everything is still looking good. DD and the baby are both doing fine (aside from the debilitating morning sickness). They passed their first batch of "screenings" for various things and everything came up perfect. DD had to get some blood drawn aagin for the next batch of screenings and whatnot, which will hopefully come out ok too.

We got to listen to the baby's heartbeat. Was a big deal for me cause they didn't let me in the room when they gave DD her first sonogram, so this was my first "seeing/hearing" of the baby. It's little heart was aparently really easy to pick up, and the nurse found it before she even got finished explaining how it can sometimes take a little bit and not to worry if she doesn't find it right away and OH, there it is. Then the little thing wiggled away from her and she lost it and had to go searching again. And then she found it. And then our baby KICKED her. HAHAHAHAHA! It's a little jerk already! Awesomeness! I couldn't be a prouder daddy!

And you know what else is awesome? Our next apointment, the one where she's geting all the big, detailed sonograms (that i'm suposed to be allowed in there this time) that check all the baby's organs and development and sex and all...it's on friggin HALLOWEEN! Thats awesomeness right there. Gonna be the best halloween EVER. Even better then the one when i was 7 and got TWO bags fulla candy...Or the one where I was 3 and wore a cheesy optimus prime costume...You know the ones, painful plastic mask and a plastic smock?
